I'm not long returned from a great weekend based at Coniston.

It'll take me a while to get the reports and pics sorted, but here's one of the few shots that I've processed so far:

I'll post the rest sometime during the next few days.

    Good.
More pics asap please, as I HAVE OFFICIALLY GOT FLU which some swine gave me, and am looking forward to seeing what I missed out on my lost weekend

Sounds like you need to purge your system, Mike. I'd suggest a good chilli, seeing as you've probably got the ingredients to hand somewhere

Hope you get well soon - Frank still needs help with that mountain of cheese 😯

And it gets even worse. When I woke up this morning and had a look in the mirror, the next thing in my hand was the phone making a call to the Docs.
My lower jaw has swollen so much I look like Desperate Dan. The doc asked me 'have you ever had mumps?'
MUMPS? ffs!! cue emergency call to mother....'No dear I dont think you had them, but David did...he looked just like Desperate Dan.....Offs!!

    MUMPS!!!!

Doc...'Well it could be a salivary gland infection or a salivary gland stone [wtf?]
    to be continued.......

  4. Really sorry that I couldn't come with you, my annual pre-Christmas dinner with some paddling mates precluded it. Catch up with you soon!

@Steve Walton - No worries, Steve. It's good to see that you're on the mend. Looks like you had a great Sunday up Kinder way.

@Mike Bell - Mumps 😯 Hopefully it'll be kind and spare you the agony of Orchitis.
BTW, thanks for your letter and cheque. Posted first-class and postmarked 6th December in Warrington, it arrived today 15th December. That's a huge delay.
