In that speech he said:<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: center;\"><em>\"For the first time in Olympic history all the participating teams will have female athletes. This is a major boost for gender equality.\"<\/em><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: center;\">Sadly, that spirit of gender equality doesn't seem to extend to all of the official sponsors. One of them disregards Dads, and even seems proud of having done so:<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: center;\"><img decoding=\"async\" style=\"border: 0pt none; vertical-align: middle;\" src=\"https:\/\/beardedgit.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2012\/Augsexist-L.jpg\" alt=\"\" \/><\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: center;\">Still, it's not as if this sort of <a rel=\"noopener noreferrer\" href=\"https:\/\/beardedgit.com\/?p=367\" target=\"_blank\">officially-approved sexism<\/a> is rife in our land of equality, is it?<\/p>\n<\/span>","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>About a week ago I watched Jacques Rogge make his speech at the Opening Ceremony of the London 2012 Olympic Games.
