{"id":162,"date":"2007-09-03T11:56:53","date_gmt":"2007-09-03T10:56:53","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/beardedgit.com\/?p=162"},"modified":"2022-04-09T22:21:58","modified_gmt":"2022-04-09T21:21:58","slug":"another-gadget-arrives","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/beardedgit.com\/?p=162","title":{"rendered":"Another gadget arrives"},"content":{"rendered":"<span class=\"image-fixer-wrapper\"><p style=\"text-align: center;\">While I was interwebnet trawling for the right-angle viewfinder, I got to thinking that a remote shutter release for the D50 might be a handy gadget to have around, especially for those moments when I don't want to put down my beer just to press the release on the camera.<\/p>\r\n<p style=\"text-align: center;\">The <a rel=\"noopener\" href=\"http:\/\/www.nikonusa.com\/template.php?cat=1&amp;grp=56&amp;productNr=4730\" target=\"_blank\">Nikon ML-L3<\/a> was the gadget of choice - simple to use (just the one button, all of the other parameters are set in the camera), light and cheap at just \u00a311 delivered from <a rel=\"noopener\" href=\"http:\/\/stores.ebay.co.uk\/DZONE2\" target=\"_blank\">Dzone2<\/a> on eBay. Included is one battery and a pouch which will accommodate a spare battery in addition to the remote unit.<\/p>\r\n<p style=\"text-align: center;\">It works in all camera modes that I've tested it with.
