Your right. But something happened in the fact the USA tried to do something. Big change after Bush. Something tried is better than not trying.

http://unfccc.int/resource/doc.....ng/l07.pdf - have you read it, Martin?

It's bullshit, flannel, posturing, hot air, hollow...

    It reminds me of http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=5P2jJdrz9bY

That's the problem. Not enough was said, or even done. If the leaders of the planet can't be ar5ed taking it seriously, why should we? It's so ironic. The leaders of a dying planet jetting round the world trying to work out how to stop pollution from, flying. Normally, a "Common Enemy", such as global warming, brings warring factions together. I think that lot just need a Common Enema!

  4. alan.sloman says:

'1984' springs to mind. We need an enemy. If we defeat the enemy we need a new one. Far easier to keep the same enemy, innit?

Besides - did you really expect this lot to actually DO something, however ineffecyual it might have been to the warming of the planet (if there is warming, that is....)

We actually fixed it last Thursday on Netcycler.fi's little christmas party. We'll have a statement up soon-ish. It was clear that those self proclaimed morons, aka presidents, chancellors, etc. wouldn't get anything done, so we took it upon ourselves.

Oh an Alan, the planet is warming.
