I genuinely didn't know the word "swannery" existed. I suppose it's kind of obviously necessary, perfect word though, when you think about it.

PMSL - I see you're on autopirate again this year.

'tis true. I trust that it meets with your approval, Captain

    Also PMSL 😆 !

J and I visited the swannery as well this year - a fantastic place - must remember to post a few photos of that visit on the blog. The bouncing bomb was a bit of a turn up - wasn't expecting that - seemed so out of place in such a peaceful setting.

I've finally sprung for the money to get a replacement monitor for the ancient steam powered thing that we had, which basically had one setting - "not quite pitch black but almost".

Your photies look even more impressive now that I've let a bit of light in!

  6. BG! says:

@Scott - Excellent! Does this mean that you've gone all widescreen?

  7. Scott says:

Indeed! Just a wee widescreen, but a widescreen nonetheless.

I'm finding the whole experience very elongating.

  8. BG! says:

Does this mean that I can now go back and edit all my pics to the intended 800px wide?

  9. Scott says:

I'm maybe just saying this because of MY NEW MONITOR, but that astronomy picture of the day is a remarkably...I don't know, biblical epic sort of image. Traffic stopping photie altogether.
